Family Life Director, Gina Tomes, assisted in launching the Family Life Program for Bethlehem House in 2005. Gina’s focus is to guide and support each resident with love and compassion to assist them in identifying a new, healthy path in life.
Gina has 24 years of experience in human services, education, affordable housing, addiction recovery, non-profit management and social work. She is also experienced in fundraising and development focusing on individual gifts and congregation contributions. At Bethlehem House, she works to support the needs of families by helping each woman to identify and achieve positive goals that lead to self-sufficiency and a stable life for her and her child.
Gina is a graduate of Gross Catholic High School and has a B.S. in Human Services and Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She also holds a certificate in Family Ministry from Creighton University. In June of 2016, Gina was a Women’s Center for Advancement – Tribute to Women Honoree. Gina is a member of St. Columbkille parish in Papillion Nebraska.
